I am pleased to offer sliding-scale individual sessions online.
I help new and seasoned meditators safely and compassionately deepen and sustain their practice of formal meditation, yoga, and incorporate mindfulness in all realms of life. I am here to provide support in times of difficulty, transition, and trauma integration, using a blend of somatic and meditative techniques from a Buddhist Chaplaincy perspective.
Using the topics you bring and your personal preferences for meditation guidance, I create gentle, supportive, and custom-guided meditations during our sessions that you can keep and practice with. These personalized recordings are specific to your life circumstances, including bereavement, divorce, and chronic pain and illness, using a blend of Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, self-compassion, embodiment, and Internal Family Systems techniques.
I offer preparation and integration for people anticipating a challenging or intense experience or transition. We will meet twice before and twice after the event/transition. In the preparation phase, we can explore your hopes and fears, and work together to create inner and outer resources that help you feel safe, grounded, and supported. In the integration phase following the event/transition, we can work together to support your nervous system's ability to self-regulate, absorb and incorporate useful learnings, and promote your flourishing.
